In an effort to enhance the safety and security for our students and staff, we are requiring that all visitors are to check in through the front office with a valid driver's license or identification card. The DL/ID will run through our Raptor System and you will receive a printed visitor badge. Thank you all for helping create the safest environment possible.

TISD has worked very hard over the past few years to ensure that our secondary students complete a program of study while earning an Industry Based Certification(s) through a series of courses and testing through approved vendors. Students graduate with the ability to use their certifications to become employed as soon as they graduate. If you have a secondary student, please feel free to contact the school or come and get our free TISD Programs of Study informational booklet to see the course breakdown and certification testing of programs offered.

What a wonderful first day we have had here at TISD! Here are a few important things to remember as we start the school year.
- Doors do not open until 7:15 in the morning. Please do not drop your students off before that time.
- Please do not drive through the back gates of the school to drop off or pick up your child. This area is for district vehicles only.
- Pick up is at 3:35 in front of the building. We ask that you please stay in your vehicle. Administration and teachers will be there for assistance.
- Last, there may be forms coming home throughout the next few days. Please sign and return as quickly as you can.

Meet the Trojans was a success! It is great seeing the parents, students, staff and community come together again to kickoff an awesome school year! Thank you to everyone that made this event possible. Also a special thanks goes out to Emili Foster and Brooke Kinsman from Region 7 for making the trip to share information and excitement about the Strong Foundations Grant that will transform our instructional practices and academic standards beginning this year!
