TISD has worked very hard over the past few years to ensure that our secondary students complete a program of study while earning an Industry Based Certification(s) through a series of courses and testing through approved vendors. Students graduate with the ability to use their certifications to become employed as soon as they graduate. If you have a secondary student, please feel free to contact the school or come and get our free TISD Programs of Study informational booklet to see the course breakdown and certification testing of programs offered.
Trojans, this is the flyer that was passed out for tshirt orders from Trojan Pride. Below, we have also included the link to order online which includes long sleeve and ladies cuts. Order forms are due Aug 23rd and must be prepaid and the online store closes on the 26th. These are some pretty cool shirts! Please consider purchasing to support our Trojan Pride. What a wonderful first day we have had here at TISD! Here are a few important things to remember as we start the school year.
- Doors do not open until 7:15 in the morning. Please do not drop your students off before that time.
- Please do not drive through the back gates of the school to drop off or pick up your child. This area is for district vehicles only.
- Pick up is at 3:35 in front of the building. We ask that you please stay in your vehicle. Administration and teachers will be there for assistance.
- Last, there may be forms coming home throughout the next few days. Please sign and return as quickly as you can.

Meet the Trojans was a success! It is great seeing the parents, students, staff and community come together again to kickoff an awesome school year! Thank you to everyone that made this event possible. Also a special thanks goes out to Emili Foster and Brooke Kinsman from Region 7 for making the trip to share information and excitement about the Strong Foundations Grant that will transform our instructional practices and academic standards beginning this year! Go Trojans!
Trinidad ISD would like to thank Tanya Estes Norris, Fran Estes, Kaylee Sims and any others that donated materials and time to paint the hallways of Trinidad Middle School. This was done as a family service project in memory of Larry Don Estes and his love for the community and TISD.
